2.4 The PARTIES wish, and hereby agree, to supplement the currently active Automatic Aid Agreement between them to provide chief -level officer duty coverage as further described in this Agreement. 2.5 LOMA LINDA desires to hire the services of the COLTON Fire Department in providing on -duty Battalion Chiefs ("BC" or "BCs") to function within its own Fire Department as further described herein. 2.6 COLTON desires to continue receiving the services of the LOMA LINDA Fire Department in providing chief -level duty officers to function within its own Fire Department as further described herein. 2.7 LOMA LINDA is willing to compensate COLTON in providing BCs to function as part of LOMA LINDA's Fire Department. 3, TERMS 3.1 Duration. The term of the Agreement shall be from August 1, 2007 through and including June 30, 2008. The term of this Agreement may be extended or renewed only upon written consent of the PARTIES. Any additional services performed by COLTON personnel on behalf of LOMA LINDA subsequent to such expiration shall not automatically extend the term of this Agreement. Any additional services performed by LOMA LINDA personnel on behalf of COLTON subsequent to such expiration shall not automatically extend the term of this Agreement. 3.2 Personnel Staffing. 3.2.1 COLTON. COLTON will provide on -duty BCs who will be scheduled to respond to LOMA LINDA's calls/alarms for two (2) weekends per month, as part of LOMA LINDA's regular four (4) -week, weekend rotation.
