CITY OF COLTON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT PLANNING DIVISION COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM PROJECT STATUS REPORT - MARCH 6, 1997 Current Status of Community Development Block Grant Funded Proiects• 1. Senior Citizens Outreach Program: Current balance is $14,000. A claim in the amount of $5,777.58 has been submitted to the County for reimbursement. Upon approval the balance will be $8,222.42. 2. Code Enforcement Program: Current balance is $128,223. A claim in the amount of approximately $30,600 is currently being prepared, and will be submitted to the County for reimbursement. 3. Day Care Center Modular Unit/Cooley Ranch School: Current balance is $68,000. The unit has been constructed and is in use. A claim in the amount of $60,975.27 has been submitted to the County for reimbursement. An additional $684,Zf—F'h6s--bgen approve_ d for expenditure. Estimated remaining balance will 6$6,340.5?. _ 4. Day Care Center Modular Unit/Paul Rogers School: Current balance is $136,000. The project is ready to go out to bid, however, it is on administrative hold, according to Randy Anstine, Neighborhood Services Director. 5. Street Improvements, 2nd 3rd &-5 th: Current balance is $234,324. See #9 below. 6. Street Improvements -Olive Mt Vernon Grant: Current balance is $67,230. This project is currently under construction. 7. Street Improvements -L, N O 7th loth 11thCongress: Current balance is $88,604. See #9 below. 8. Veterans Park Recreation Improvements: Current balance is $81,928. Phase I has been completed and a claim in the amount of $44,156.36 has been submitted to the County for reimbursement. A contract for Phase II, in the amount of $16,445 has been awarded to Spectraturf, Inc. Upon approval of the claim, and if there are no change orders to the Spectraturf contract, the balance of funds would amount to approximately $21,326.64. - --
