SECTZON 1.2 PROCEDURAL DOCUMENTS INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS 1.2.01 Genera The General Services Manager of the City of Colton will receive, open and declare in the CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, sealed proposals for the following City construction. Bid No. P'URl-98 City of Colton, Rehabilitation of Well Plant No. 22 1.2.02 Scope of Work A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services to rehabilitate the w�ll including gyroscopic log, removal of oil from the surface of the wtaer, wire brushing, cleaning debris �rom the bottom of the well, chemical treatment, installation of pturtping unit, well develo�nt, and well testing. B. Control of Work: The City shall decide all questions which may arise as to the quality of, and acceptability of the materials and work. Control of work, equipment, and inspections shall conform to Section 2 or the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construc�ion, Iatest edition, hereinafter referred to as the standard specifications. C. Site of Work: For access to the site, contact Mike Medina at 909-370-6111. 1.2.03 Examination of Plans SQecifications, Soecial Provisions, and Site of Work � The bidder shall examine carefully the site of the work contemplated and the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents. Therefore, it will be assurned that the bidder has investigated and is satisfied as to the general and local conditions to be encountered, the character, � quality and quantities of the work to be perforrned and rnaterials to be furnished, the character of equipment and facilities needed preliminary to and during the prosecution of the work, and the � requireIDents of these specifications. It is mutually agreed that submission of a proposal shall be considered prima facia evidence that the bidder has made such examination. 1.2-1
