R-92-98 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />ACCEPTING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA'S <br />RELINQUISHMENT OF RIGHT OF WAY IN <br />COLTON AND TO WAIVE THE REQUIRED <br />NINETY DAY NOTICE PERIOD <br />WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Transportation, is in <br />possession of certain right of way in Colton on State Highway 215; and, <br />WHEREAS, said right of way is no longer needed for State highway purposes, <br />and the State of California desires to relinquish said right of way to the City of <br />Colton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Colton agrees to accept said right of way as highlighted on the attached map. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />agrees to waive the ninety day notice period as provided for in Section 73 of the <br />Streets and Highways Code and agrees that the roadway to be accepted, is in P <br />state of good repair. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this fifteenth day of September, 1998. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
