5.3 Hardware: <br />a. Colton will procure computer hardware and meter reading <br />equipment which is necessary to operate the MUIS system. <br />6. MUIS Staff Time: <br />6.1 Each member of the MUIS Staff shall allocate and report their time <br />to tasks related to Implementation, Customization or <br />General/Op erational. <br />6.2 All MUIS Staff time that is related to the Implementation State is by <br />its nature specific to only one of the Parties and shall be charged in <br />full to that Party. Colton shall reimburse Azusa for all MUIS staff <br />time and expenses relating to the Implementation State as provided <br />in Sections 7.4 and 7.5. Azusa will give Colton written notice of the <br />start and completion of any Implementation State and the Parties will <br />agree on those respective dates. <br />6.3 The Operational State will be the predominate and normal state of the <br />MUIS system and associated operations and staff time will consist of <br />General/Operational Tasks. The costs associated with maintaining <br />this state will be shared by the Parties as provided in Sections 7.2, <br />7.3, 7.4 and 7.5. During the Operational State, the percentages of <br />each MUIS Staff member's time shall be shared as agreed to by the <br />Authorized Representatives. The Authorized Representatives may <br />from time to time change such percentages to reflect current <br />conditions. Such changes will be in writing, signed by the <br />Authorized Representatives. <br />6.4 From time to time during the Operational State, either Party, may <br />undertake Customization that requires more MUIS Staff time than <br />can be accommodated within a normal weekly schedule. During this <br />Change State, expenses associated with Customization specific to one <br />of the Parties will be handled as follows. If Colton requests <br />Customization which exceeds its hours provide in Section 6.5, Colton <br />shall pay for such hours as provided in Sections 7.3, 7.4 and 7.5. If <br />Azusa requires Customization, the time expended shall be accounted <br />for separately and the cost and expense therefore shall not be included <br />in the costs shared pursuant to Section 7.2.
