Re: Booking Fees — Adopt Resolution <br />Page 2 <br />FINANCIAL EWPACT The savings as a result of cities within the County agreeing to eliminate <br />the Criminal Justice Administrative Fee Increase amounts to $23,000 for the remainder of this <br />fiscal year, and an additional $47,000 for the next fiscal year prior to the February 2000 increase. <br />All cities concur that these savings could best be used for local law enforcement programs that <br />would benefit the entire County. Cities who do not sign the supplemental agreement will pay the <br />increased fee. The elimination of the CPI increase is the first step towards control of booking fees <br />being paid by cities. <br />Patrick G.
