It should detail all of the pertinent information: hotel and travel arrangements, brochures announcing the event, an itinerary listing any scheduled events such as receptions or press conferences. Please include at least three telephone numbers: hotel, ground transportation, and an emergency contact person from your organization. Please send a copy of this letter to our office. PROMOTION/PUBLICITY A promotional package with photos and sample brochures will be sent to help you prepare your brochures. It is important to get your brochures out to the general public in ample time so professionals can make arrangements to attend the conference. Once your brochures are ready, please send about 20 copies to this office. FACILITIES We ask that you provide us with floor plans for both the parent evening and professional day facilities. We also ask that you hold the professional day in the same hotel where the faculty will be staying. BINDERS AND WORKSHOP PACKETS 1.Binders - The local sponsor agrees to purchase white, plastic clear -view, three-ring binders for the participants on the professional day. These binders should be ordered through a local office - supply distributor in your area. The local sponsor also agrees to order slip sheets supporting the NSS and The First Years logo through our printer, Masco. A form will be sent to you to be faxed to the printer once you establish the number of covers you will need. The NSS provides this artwork to you free of charge. You are only responsible for shipping costs. These sheets are to be inserted into the plastic sleeve on the front cover and spine of the binders. 2.Workshop Packets - The local sponsor agrees to furnish a workshop packet for each person attending the seminar.
