CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of January 18, 2000 <br />APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE A JOINT AGREEMENT BETWEEN CALTRANS AND THE <br />CITY OF COLTON FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT 1-10 <br />EASTBOUND ON AND OFF RAMPS AT MT. VERNON AVENUE. CALTRAN'S <br />REFERENCE AGREEMENT 408-SBd-10-KP R37.4 - DISTRICT AGREEMENT NO. 8-1099 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Funds were appropriated in the FY 97-98 C.I.P. budget, in the amount of $50,000. This <br />funding would come from the Traffic Impact Fund, Account No. 249-6900-6912-3890. <br />The City will be required to deposit with the State, within 25 days of receipt of billing, an <br />amount of $45,000. Should cost exceed the $50,000, staff will submit any adjustments <br />to City Council for authorization and approval. <br />�ZAem� A <br />/ V 4V <br />Johrt//7c- Hutton, Public Works Director <br />-ENVIRONMENTAL: <br />None <br />-RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve and authorize Cooperative Agreement <br />No. 8-1099 with the State of California Department of Transportation and for purposes <br />of expediting the project, authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and any <br />subsequent documents necessary to implement the project. <br />Report prepared by James R.
