A meetiag with you and your staff on <br />October 16, 2001 and subsequent convetsations with Pat Getzel facilitated our rcview. <br />The proposed amendments to the City's elemmt address the statutory requircments lrom the <br />Scptembcr 24, 2001 review, therafore, when the Ciry adopts the proposed changes the Holl¢7 ro <br />Element will be in full compliance wi� Stabe housing element law (Article 10.6. of the <br />Govemment Code). The City is commendvd far y�rengthening its programs to encourage the <br />development of second units and ensiae citizen access to fair housing resources. <br />We wish Colton success in the implementation of its housing element grograms and look forward <br />to rec�iving thc adopted elemcnt pursvant ta Govemment Code Seetion 65585 (b).
