Ciry Council Meeting - January 15, 2002 <br />Approval of a Professional Services Agreement <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />Reject staff's recommendation and direct staff to re-solicit request for proposals for professional <br />environmental services/CEQA processing for both projects; Approve the Professional Services <br />Contract to Tom Dodson & Associates only for the Community Sports Pazk project and direct <br />staff to issue a request for proposals for the Inland Empire Composting proposed project. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />Funds aze budgeted for the Communiry Sports Park portion of the Professional Services Contract <br />in Account Number 100-1000-1100-2350. The applicant (Inland Empire Composting) will pay <br />for all work required by the consultant for its portion of the work, therefore, there is no cost to <br />the Ciry. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />The action to hire a consultant is exempt under Section 15306 of the California Environmental <br />Qualiry Act (CEQA). <br />Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to enter and execute two <br />separate Professional Services Agreements with Tom Dodson & Associates for Professional <br />Environmental Services/CEQA Processing for the Big League Dreams Community Sports Park <br />with additional Commercial Development and for the Inland Empire Composting Bio-Solid <br />Processing Facility Proposal to be paid for by the applicant. <br />Attactunent: Tom Dodson & Associates Consultant Proposal for the Community Sports Pazk <br />Tom Dodson & Associates Letter Regazding Consultant Costs Savings <br />REVIEW TEAM ONLY <br />City Attorney: ,�J .� ���. c��- �nance Directorc � : �u: <br />CityManager: � �% "����-�-/�-- OTT3ERs' <br />
