In that capacity we are in receipt <br />of your claim of children throwing pine cones at your home. <br />We have now completed our investigation into your claim by receiving and reviewing <br />the departmental report. The trees which are located on the right of way near <br />Eucalyptus Avenue are not diseased nor have there been any other complaint concerning <br />these trees. They have been in this location for approximately 15 years. Removing the <br />tree is not an option, however, in order to accommodate you the City has trimmed this <br />tree which will reduce the amount of pine cones it produces. The City has no control <br />over the actions of the children. <br />With the above in mind, we have recommended denial of your claim.
