survey. In comparing the positions, factors such as population, budget and scope of duties, <br />were used to bring the position within, plus or minus, fifteen percent of the market. In her <br />analysis, Consultant Andrea Dembrowsky used a scientific approach to the study and applied <br />regression as the test for the information provided. For the position of the City Clerk, she found <br />there was a 56.2 % average correlation as to population (a factor), which she believed was a <br />solid predictor for this position. In other words, the items pulled for comparison matched. <br />On October 1, 2002 Council approved salary adjustments for the Executive Unit.
