In that capacity we are in receipt <br />of your claim for damages caused by Santa Ana winds. <br />We have now completed our investigation into your claim by receiving and reviewing <br />the departmental report_ Heavy wind conditions are not the fault of the City. <br />Additionally, there were no noted previous problems with trees in this area and in fact, <br />they had been trimmed one to one and a half years ago. With this in mind we find no <br />legal liability on the part of the City of Colton. <br />With the above in mind, we have recommended denial of your claim.
