ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />The proposed public improvements are exempt under CEQA Section 15301 (b) – Repairs of <br />existing highways and streets. <br />FINANCIAL/FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The estimated construction cost of the project is $265,000, including the 15% contingency. Staff <br />recommends that this project be considered for funding from the Traffic Relief Fund in the amount <br />of $129,000 and the balance of $135,000 from the Host City Fee funds. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff respectfully recommends that Council: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. k- appropriating funds for Valley Blvd. Center Median <br />Landscape Project from Rancho Avenue to 3`d Street from Traffic Relief Fund, for $129,000 <br />and from Host City Fee, for $135,000. <br />2.
