AdopHon of 2005-2009 Implementarion Plan <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />Pursuant to Section 33490 (H & S Code), the Implementation Plan must contain and <br />address the following matters, among others: <br />Redevelopment Plans <br />• Specific goals and objectives for the next five (5) years. <br />• Specific programs, potential projects, and the estimated expenditures planned for <br />the next five (5) years. <br />• An explanation of how the goals, objectives, programs, and expenditures will <br />eliminate blight. <br />Housinq Plans <br />• An explanation of how the goals, objectives, programs and expenditures wifl <br />implement the Low and Moderate Housing Set-Aside and housing production <br />requirements set forth in the redevelopment law. <br />• The amount of money available in the Low and Moderate-Income Housing fund, <br />the amount of money expected to be deposited thereto during the next five years, <br />as well as plans for using the annual deposits to the housing set-aside fund. <br />• The estimated number of dwelling units to be constructed, rehabilitated or price <br />restricted in each of the five years. <br />• An estimated number of dwelling units to be provided over the next ten (10) years <br />to meet the Agency's 15% inclusionary housing requirements, if applicable. <br />• The number of qualifying very low, low, and moderate income units that have <br />been produced in the Project Area and the number of additional units that will be <br />required to meet the inclusionary housing requirements. <br />• The number of units that will be developed by the Agency, if any, including the <br />number of units that will be available for very low, low and moderate income <br />households. <br />DISCUSSIONIANALYSIS <br />A copy of the Agency's 2005-2009 Implementation Plan is attached to Agency <br />Resolution No. 839, which is Attachment "A" to this report. <br />Proiects <br />Projects included in the Implementation Plan were identified from the following <br />sources: input from the community, Agency Boardmembers and staff; the <br />redevelopment plans for each of the project areas; the1999-2004 Implementation <br />Plan; and, the City's capital projects plan. A few of them include: <br />• Road improvements to Washington St., Cooley Dr., Old Ranch Rd., Oliver <br />Holmes Rd., Reche Canyon Rd., Fairway, Colton Ave., Valley Blvd., Eucalyptus <br />Ave., Pepper Ave., Meridian Ave., and C St.; <br />
