IkN41 vIGANT <br />activities and financial products serve to meet customer requirements and corporate <br />objectives. <br />During his tenure at Navigant Consulting Inc., Mr. Pickering has been able to bring <br />industry knowledge and experience to energy industry clients, both on the purchase and <br />sales side of the energy marketplace. Working as part of the NCI team involved with <br />public clients such as state of California Department of Water Resources during the <br />California "energy crisis", he was able to help the state's fuel procurement function <br />manage its way through a truly unique market period. <br />John Forman, a registered professional engineer in California and Nevada, and former <br />director of RMI Utility Services (RMIUS), has been with NCI for nearly twenty years, <br />during which time he has been the project managing director for the California -Oregon <br />Transmission Project, and a project engineer on the Westly-Tracy 230 -kV Transmission <br />Project. Mr. Forman has also provided planning and engineering assistance to the <br />Transmission Agency of Northern California and individual California municipal <br />utilities. Mr. Forman has previously worked for the Western Area Power <br />Administration, the United States Bureau of Reclamation, and the Kansas Power and <br />Light Company. Most all of his career has been spent in substation, transmission and <br />distribution activities. He has also managed the contract services that were provided by <br />RMIUS for over 10 year to the City of Vernon, California, where a staff of up to 20 <br />personnel provided operation, maintenance and construction services to Vernon on its <br />transmission and distribution systems, along with the substations. <br />Randall Hunt has over twenty-five years of engineering experience in the electric power <br />industry with seventeen years of transmission system planning experience within a <br />public utility. Mr. Hunt has played a key role in an electric resource competitive bidding <br />process, and has performed transmission and distribution system analysis studies for <br />small generation and inter -tie delivery proposals for municipal and investor-owned <br />utilities. He has also testified before the Public Service Commission in support of the <br />resulting purchase contracts. He has served as project leader on a 69 -kV line extension <br />and substation project to interconnect a geothermal generation plant to the electric <br />system network. The project was completed on schedule and under budget.
