No. 992 <br />Mr. Aguilera reported on a Conditional Use Permit application requested by Smith <br />Packing Company to conduct the sale of mobile homes, modular homes, and recreation- <br />al vehicle services on approximately 1 acre of land located at 1650 East Fairway <br />Drive, in a C -2-X zone, which is a compatible use to the project site. <br />Mr. Aguilera stated that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />Conditional Use Permit application, at a public hearing held April 14, 1981, <br />subject to 5 conditions as outlined in Planning Commission Resolution No. 992. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Planning <br />Commission Resolution No. 992, subject to findings and conditions as listed <br />therein. Unanimous vote. <br />Conditional Use Permits <br />P. C. Res. No. 993 <br />Mr. Aguilera reported on a Conditional Use Permit application requested by Paul V. <br />Shadid to construct a single family, mediterranean style residence on 1 acre of <br />land located east of Reche Canyon Road in an R -E -X zone, the home to include three <br />bedrooms and double garage. <br />Mr. Aguilera advised this project will be consistent with the General Plan and <br />zoning requirements, and conforms with the surrounding uses of the area. Mr. <br />Aguilera said the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this matter, on <br />April 14, 1981, and recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit, subject <br />to 7 conditions as stated in Planning Commission Resolution No. 993. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Planning <br />Commission Resolution No. 993, subject to findings and conditions as listed <br />therein. Unanimous vote. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />L. A. F. C. <br />Res. No. 4102 <br />City Manager Trevino reported on a proposed resolution concerning property tax <br />revenues and a memorandum from Robert B. Rigney, County Administrative Officer, <br />requesting that the City of Colton adopt a resolution transferring property tax <br />revenues to Colton as a result of a pending annexation as outlined in the Local <br />Agency Formation Commission Resolution No. 2084. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Reso- <br />lution No. 4102. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4102 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF <br />PROPERTY TAX REVENUES TO BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN AND AMONG <br />THE CITY OF COLTON AND THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO RE- <br />SULTING FROM THE JURISDICTIONAL CHANGE DESCRIBED BY LAFC <br />NO. 2084. <br />Federally Funded Projects <br />Res. No. 4103 <br />Mr. Trevino requested Council's consideration and approval of Resolution No. 4103, <br />authorizing the City Manager to file applications for Federal and State grants, <br />should they become available, for publicly owned wastewater treatment works. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Reso- <br />lution No. 4103. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4103 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZ- <br />ING FILING APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL AND STATE GRANTS FOR PUB- <br />LICLY OWNED WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS AND PROVIDING CERTAIN <br />ASSURANCES. <br />Electric Rate Review <br />Mr. Trevino advised that, as recommended by the Electric Utility Director, the <br />matter concerning the Electric Rate Review was being removed from the Agenda at <br />this time. <br />APR 2 11981 <br />
