3(;RESOLUTION NO. 4091 - WEED ABATEMENT, FINDING, DETERMINING AND DECLARING INSUFFI- <br />CIENT OBJECTIONS OR PROTESTS TO THE REMOVAL OF PUBLIC NUISANCE. <br />Pprsnnnal <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Personnel Officer Trevino submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported that no <br />protests or objections had been received. <br />Mr. Trevino reported that the public hearing this evening is to consider the new <br />position of Supervising Custodian, which is being created in order to facilitate <br />building maintenance under one responsible person. Mr. Trevino referred to the <br />job description and proposed resolutions amending the City's Pay and Classifica- <br />tion Plan and Table of Organization for the new position. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if there was anyone present that wished to speak in favor of <br />or in opposition to this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to close the Public <br />Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Resolution <br />Nos. 4092 and 4093. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4092 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4011, ESTABLISHING A PAY AND CLASSIFICATION <br />PLAN FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF COLTON, EFFECTIVE JULY <br />1, 1980. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4093 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />THE TABLE OR ORGANIZATION FOR THE 1980-81 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET. <br />Zoning <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no ob- <br />jections or protests had been received. <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported on a zone change application requested by <br />Hezmalhalch Development Company to change the zone from R -E, Residential Estates, <br />to R -1-X, Single Family Residential with Special Conditions, on property located <br />south of Laurel Street and east of Meridian Avenue, to construct 3.5 homes per <br />acre as single family units, or a total of 24 homes. <br />Mr. Aguilera stated the project is consistent with the General Plan and will be <br />compatible with the surrounding zoning and uses. <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded that the Planning Commission, at a public hearing held <br />March 10, 1981, recommended approval of the zone change application as outlined <br />in Planning Commission Resolution No. 987, and Staff, therefore, recommends <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 1599. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to terminate the <br />Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to pass First Reading, <br />and waive further reading of Ordinance No. 1599. Unanimous vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1599 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 964, <br />First Reading AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN ZONE RECLASSIFICATIONS. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Mayor Gonzales advised the letter from Mr. James K.
