<br />PUBLIC HEARINGS:
<br />Personnel
<br />Mayor Gonzales announced that this was the time and place fixed for public hearing
<br />to consider amendments to the City's Personnel System Rules and Regulations concern-
<br />ing proposed classification of Electrical Stores -Maintenance Person.
<br />Mayor Gonzales declared the public hearing open.
<br />Personnel Officer Trevino submitted the Affidavit of Posting.
<br />Mr. Trevino referred to the job description for the proposed position of Electrical
<br />Stores -Maintenance Person, for the Electric Department, at the salary range of 8.
<br />Mr. Trevino stated if the Council Members concur with amending the City's Pay and
<br />Classification Plan for this position, it would be in order to adopt Resolution
<br />No. 4152.
<br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak in favor of or in opposition
<br />to this matter.
<br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
<br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 1004
<br />In the absence of Planning Director Aguilera, City Manager Trevino reported that
<br />this item concerns a Change of Zone from M-1 to C-2, Indext No. A-4-81, and the
<br />applicant is Lynn Moon, et al. Mr. Tevino stated the recommended action is that
<br />the Council set this matter for public hearing on November 17, 1981.
<br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to set Planning
<br />Commission Resolution No. 1004 for public hearing on November 17, 1981. Unanimous
<br />vote.
<br />Preliminary General Plan
<br />City Manager Trevino reported that the revision to the City's General Plan,
<br />known as the Preliminary General Plan, is now ready for City Council consideration
<br />and the appropriate action would be to set this matter for public hearing.
<br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to set the Preliminary
<br />General Plan for public hearing on November 17, 1981. Unanimous vote.
<br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
<br />City Manager Trevino reported that on request of Councilwoman Garcia, the following
<br />items are being carried over to an adjourned meeting to be held on Tuesday,
<br />October 27, 1981:
<br />(9) Consider Power Sales Contract and REsolution No. 4153.
<br />(10) Consider Transmission Service Agreement.
<br />(13) Computer Purchase.
<br />(14) Computer Service Agreement.
<br />(16) Bid Award for Office Copying Machine.
<br />Hutton Center
<br />City Manager Trevino reported on the request of Mrs. Mandy Karr, Board Member of
<br />the San Bernardino County Council on Aging. Mr. Trevino stated Mrs. Karr's
<br />request was that she would like to sell the existing french fryer, which has never
<br />been used and is still boxed and use the proceeds toward the purchase of a new
<br />refrigerator.
