Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 1624. Unanimous vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1624: - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON REQUIRING THE PROVI- <br />First Reading SION OF WATER LINES AND FIRE HYDRANTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH <br />CERTAIN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION OR CHANGE IN USE. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 1625. Unanimous vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1625 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE <br />First Reading NO. 1602, AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN ZONE <br />RECLASSIFICATIONS. <br />Zoning <br />P. C. Resolution No. 1041 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavits of Publication and reported <br />that no objections or protests had been received. <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported that the City Council approved the <br />General Plan on December 15, 1981, and at that time instructed staff to <br />create zones and regulations for those new General Plan designations of <br />"Industrial Park," "Business Park," "Multi -Use Corridor," and Agricultural." <br />The Planning Commission reviewed these new designations, held a public <br />hearing and agreed with the proposed zones and changes as shown on the <br />attached ordinance. <br />Mr. Aguilera recommendedthe first reading of Ordinance No. 1626. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to terminate <br />the Public Hearing. Resolution No. 1038 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing <br />open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit <br />of Publication and reported that no <br />objections or protests had been received. <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported this <br />is a prezoning on Annexation South 40, <br />and the property in question contains approximately <br />153 acres of vacant and <br />industrially used land. The property is <br />surrounded on three sides by Industrial <br />zoning in San Bernardino County and Riverside <br />County with residential zoning to <br />the east in the city.
