Mr. Kent replied he was not certain, but he would say approximately 600 feet. <br />91 Councilman Rios then asked if there were any residences to the south of the propose d <br />project. <br />Mr. Kent answered there are approximately 30 residences in that area to the south. <br />Mr. Kent then stated that the people objecting to this project are not within the <br />City limits of Colton, they are County residents. <br />Councilman Rios then asked if the developer will bring in a sewer line and will this <br />be available to County residents. <br />Mr. Kent stated yes, they intend to provide a sewer line for the project, which would <br />also be available to the County residents, and this would be paid for by the developer. <br />Councilwoman Cisneros and Councilman Rehrer both expressed their concern over the <br />fact that there is still only one road going in and out of this project, and the <br />addition in traffic. <br />Mr. Joseph Bonadiman, Engineer for the proposed project of Bonadiman & Associates, <br />stated the proposed units will not exceed the requirements of the City's General <br />Plan and Zoning Ordinance. Mr. Bonadiman said they plan to provide a future water <br />tank and fire station site, and they are willing to work with the City in any way <br />to comply with all requirements. Mr. Bonadiman concluded that at some future date <br />possibly Westwood Street could tie in with Prado Lane, however, at this point in <br />time they were not prepared to make projections on road patterns. <br />Councilman Rios asked if they could project how many vehicles would be going through <br />Q this development. <br />Q Mr. Bonadiman replied with a 180 unit project he would say approximately 170 vehicles, <br />or a peak daily use of 1,572 vehicles. <br />Councilman Rios then stated with regard to the condition of impaction of schools, he <br />did not feel this was a valid reason for denial and this should not be imposed on <br />any developer. <br />After additional discussion, moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman <br />Rios, the Public Hearing was terminated.
