(P.C.Res.No.2027) <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Housing Policies <br />City Manager Elliott advised that initially there was a deadline of <br />January 1, 1985, for adoption of a Housing Policies Report by cities <br />issuing mortgage revenue bonds, however, there have been some changes <br />and the time has been extended to March, therefore, Staff would <br />recommend this matter be brought back to the City Council at that <br />time. <br />Multi -Family Rental Housing Proiects <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Manager Elliott advised these public hearings concern multi -family <br />rental housing projects, the financing of which is being undertaken <br />pursuant to the provisions of AB 665, and involve the issuance of resi- <br />dential rental mortgage revenue bonds by the City that will, be repaid <br />in payments made by or on behalf of the developers. <br />Mr. Elliott stated Resolution No. 4538 concerns SBE Development, Reso- <br />lution No. 4539 relates to Mayer Colton Ltd., and Resolution No. 4540 <br />invo'ves Las Palomas Associates, and each of these resolutions can be <br />adopted by one motion. <br />Mr. Elliott concluded that Mr. Francis Baum, of Best, Best and Krieger, <br />is present this evening if anyone has questions. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone desired to speak on these matters. <br />Upon no one coming forward, moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by <br />Councilman Rios, the Public Hearings were terminated.
