Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO <br />Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to adoptP 5 <br />the City's General Plan, and RESOLUTION NO. <br />4507 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN. <br />Agreements/C.D.B.G. <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Mr. Aguilera reported on the Cooperating Cities Agreement between the <br />City of Colton and the San Bernardino County Office of Community De- <br />velopment, a three-year Community Development Block Grant program, be- <br />ginning July 1, 1985 and terminating June 30, 1988, during which time <br />the City would be allocated C.D.B.G. funds through the County office <br />on a formula basis. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4508 - <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON TO SIGN THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEARS 1985-86, 1986-87 AND 1987-88, WITH <br />THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY OFFICE OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT. <br />Banners/L. A. County Fair <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, ap- <br />proving and authorizing the Los Angeles County Fair to hang banners <br />in t}.e City of Colton announcing the County Fair, September 13 <br />through 30, 1984, subject to supervision by the City's Electrical <br />Department. Unanimous vote. <br />School Districts <br />Mrs. Lois Stansel, Program Specialist with the Rialto Unified School <br />District, spoke to the City Council with regard to impaction in the <br />Rialto School District, requesting that the City of Colton set a date <br />to review this report, with possible action on this matter as it re- <br />lates to the City of Colton. <br />Discussion then followed among Council. Members and Staff with regard <br />to the Colton Joint Unified School District, Grand Terrace and other <br />surrounding communities regarding the problem of impaction. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to refer <br />this matter back to Staff for study and legal opinion, and report back <br />to the City Council at a future date. Unanimous vote. <br />Bond Program <br />SEP 4 1984 <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded <br />Staff recommends <br />the Mayor be authorized to <br />execute the Agreement <br />on behalf of the City, <br />and approve Resolution <br />No. 4508. <br />OJ <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if <br />anyone desired to <br />speak on this matter. <br />M� <br />Upon no one stepping forward, <br />on motion <br />of Councilman Rios, seconded by <br />< <br />Councilwoman Cisneros, <br />the Public Hearing <br />was terminted.
