Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera reported on the prezoning of <br />property located east of Reche Canyon Road, on the south side of Prado <br />Lane, which was approved for annexation into the City of Colton on <br />November 18, 1987 by LAFCO and known as Annexation South 45, to an <br />R -E zone. Mr. Aguilera stated the proposed zoning is consistent with <br />the City's General Plan. <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded Staff would recommend approval of the prezoning <br />to R -E, and First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-3-88. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to close <br />the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to waive <br />full reading and pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-3-88. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-3-88 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />(First Reading) ORDINANCE NO. 16029 AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR CERTAIN ZONE RECLASSIFICATIONS FROM A-1 <br />(COUNTY) TO R -E (CITY OF COLTON). <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />P 7 Y Y7 i ur . 1 n <br />Community Development Director Aguilera reported on a proposal from In- <br />land Counties Family Learning Center and Carnival Times, to hold a Car- <br />nival, March 10 through 13, 1988, on property across the street from the <br />Kaiser Building on Cooley Drive, and requesting that all taxes and fees <br />be waived and water hookup and building permits be approved. <br />Mr. Aguilera reviewed nine conditions of approval to be imposed, should <br />the Council wish to appove this request. <br />After discussion among Council. Members and Staff, moved by Councilwoman <br />Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve request from Inland <br />Counties Family Learning Center for Benefit Carnival, subject to com- <br />pliance with Conditions as outlined by Staff.
