R-7-88 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING COMMENCEMENT OF ACTION TO DETERMINE THE VALIDITY OF THE BONDS OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 87-1 AND OF THE SPECIAL TAXES TO BE LEVIED TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON SUCH BONDS AND TO FINANCE POLICE PRO- TECTION AND FIRE PROTECTION AND SUPPRESSION SER- VICES THEREIN. Closed Session City Manager Benest requested a Closed Session at the end of the meeting to discuss Litigation Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a). CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Parking Regulations Ord. No. 0-2-88 City Attorney Edwards reported from his memorandum prohibiting certain parking for trucks with a capacity of over one ton in residential dis- tricts, however, loading and unloading would be permitted. Recreation vehicles, travel trailers and motor homes are also permitted, and the area within fifty feet of an intersection will be a "No Parking Area", except for passenger cars. Mr. Edwards recommended First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-2-88. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to waive full reading and pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-2-88. Ordinance No. 0-1-88 Second Reading City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 0-1-88 for Second Read- ing, reading it as to number and title only: ORDINANCE NO. 0-1-88 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING (Second Reading) CHAPTER 13 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE AND ORDINANCE NO. 1637 PROVIDING FOR SEWERS AND WASTE. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to pass Second Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 0-1-88. Unanimous vote. 5
