Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-7-88. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-7-88 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AUTHORIZING COMMENCEMENT OF ACTION TO <br />DETERMINE THE VALIDITY OF THE BONDS OF COMMUNITY <br />FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 87-1 AND OF THE SPECIAL <br />TAXES TO BE LEVIED TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND <br />INTEREST ON SUCH BONDS AND TO FINANCE POLICE PRO- <br />TECTION AND FIRE PROTECTION AND SUPPRESSION SER- <br />VICES THEREIN. <br />Closed Session <br />City Manager Benest requested a Closed Session at the end of the meeting <br />to discuss Litigation Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54956.9(a). <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Parking Regulations <br />Ord. No. 0-2-88 <br />City Attorney Edwards reported from his memorandum prohibiting certain <br />parking for trucks with a capacity of over one ton in residential dis- <br />tricts, however, loading and unloading would be permitted. Recreation <br />vehicles, travel trailers and motor homes are also permitted, and the <br />area within fifty feet of an intersection will be a "No Parking Area", <br />except for passenger cars. Mr. Edwards recommended First Reading of <br />Ordinance No. 0-2-88. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to <br />waive full reading and pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-2-88. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-2-88 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON PROHIBITING <br />(First Reading) CERTAIN PARKING. <br />Ordinance No. 0-1-88 <br />Second Reading <br />City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 0-1-88 for Second Read- <br />ing, reading it as to number and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />0-1-88 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />(Second Reading) CHAPTER 13 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE AND <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1637 PROVIDING FOR SEWERS AND WASTE. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to pass <br />Second Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 0-1-88.
