City Manager Benest reported on the proposed Redevelopment Disposition <br />and Development Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and the Ameri- <br />can RV Expo Limited of Colton, and a Summary Report on the proposed ac- <br />quisition and sale of real property by the Agency to American RV Expo <br />Limited of Colton. Mr. Benest summarized the three major points of the <br />Agreement, advising that the mimimum amount of RV sales dealers has been <br />changed from 15 to 13. <br />Mr. Benest stated Staff recommends the City Council approve by minute <br />action the acquisition and sale of property by the Redevelopment Agency <br />to Amerian RV Expo Limited of Colton, and the Redevelopment Agency approve <br />and authorize the Chairperson to execute the Disposition and Development <br />Agreement on behalf of the Agency and give the Executive Director the <br />authority to approve and sign any notes and other documents related to the <br />Agreement. <br />John Brown advised there were other minor changes in the Agreement, and <br />referred to an update of Pages 11 and 17. Mr. Brown stated the owner/ <br />developer wishes that after the project is completed to borrow money <br />from the project and retain 25% equity in the project, as outlined in <br />Item (b) of Page 17. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, the <br />Joint Public Hearing between the City Council and the Redevelopment <br />Agency was closed. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, authorizing <br />the sale of real property by the Redevelopment Agency for purposes of <br />redeveloping the real property as recreational vehicle sales and service <br />facilities and related improvements. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Member Rios, seconded by Member Gonzales, approving the Dispo- <br />sition and Development Agreement and authorizing Chairperson Cisneros <br />to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />City Manager Benest advised that the Zone Change request from Intercal <br />Properties, Inc., File Index Nos. A-2-88 and G-1-88, will be continued <br />to the next regular Council Meeting, June 21, 1988. <br />ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Computer Programming <br />Assistant City Manager Leslie Keane made a presentation to the Council <br />with regard to adding a Data Processing Coordinator to the City Staff, <br />'^ who would be an in-house Staff person serving as a liaison between other <br />Staff and the City's outside Data Processing Consultant, train Staff on <br />3 <br />
