Mr. Benest reported on amending the City's Pay and Classification Plan <br />to include the new position of Teen Program Coordinator, which was ap- <br />proved in the 1988-89 Budget for the Human Services Department. <br />Mr. Benest outlined the duties and responsibilities of the new position, <br />which will be placed in the General Unit, with a Salary Range of 15.0. <br />Mr. Benest concluded Staff recommends adoption of the job description and <br />Resolution No. R-100-88, amending the City's Pay and Classification Plan <br />for the position of Teen Program Coordinator. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to close the <br />Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to ap- <br />prove Job Description for Teen Program Coordinator, and Resolution No. <br />R-100-88, amending the City's Pay and Classification Plan. Vote was <br />unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-100-88- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-160-87. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Parade Permit <br />City Manager Benest reported on an off -the -Agenda item, that was re- <br />ceived after the Agenda had been prepared, regarding application for <br />a Parade Permit for the Colton High School Homecoming Parade. <br />Mr. Benest stated this is an annual event, and Staff would recommend <br />approval. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to con- <br />sider Parade Permit on the basis that the action requirement was request- <br />ed subsequent to the posting of the Agenda. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to ap- <br />prove Parade Permit for Colton High School Homecoming Parade, Friday, <br />October 21, 1988.
