Discussion followed among Councilmembers and Staff. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rios, to close the Public <br />Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-130-90, granting the Appeal filed by Maclin Markets <br />Inc. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />Street Vacation <br />R-130-90 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON CITY <br />COUNCIL APPROVING FILE INDEX NO. DC -54-901 <br />AN APPEAL OF A PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION <br />TO DENY A LIQUOR SALES CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera reported on the vacation of an <br />alleyway south of Mill Street and north of Hunter Road for development <br />purposes. Mr. Aguilera advised the City will retain all utility ease- <br />ments and the developer will provide a twenty foot electric utility <br />easement along the pole line, along with right-of-way access to the <br />easement. <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded if there are insufficient protests at the con- <br />clusion of this hearing, Staff would recommend approval of the alley- <br />way vacation. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to close the <br />Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-131-90. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />R-131-90 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION <br />OF AN ALLEYWAY SOUTH OF MILL STREET AND NORTH <br />OF HUNTER ROAD. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Regulation 15 - Trip Reduction Plan <br />Community Development Director Aguilera reported Staff is requesting <br />adoption of the Corporate Yard Trip Reduction Plan at this time in <br />order to begin its' implementation immediately.
