On Council consensus, the Public Hearing on Fees Increase for Police <br />Services was tabled. <br />FEES <br />Council Agenda/Minutes <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open to consider a fee for <br />City Council Agenda and Minutes open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />City Clerk Ramos stated that the City Clerk's Office provides copies <br />of City Council Agendas and Minutes on a year round basis to various <br />individuals and private businesses. The current average cost of pro- <br />viding such service is $7.00+ per month, which represents $3,538 <br />based on 42 packets times 12 months. <br />City Clerk Ramos recommended that the City Council approve Resolution <br />No. R-114-90, establishing a $7.00 per month fee for City Council <br />Agenda and Minutes. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Harold Berkebile, 1401 Latham, Colton, asked if this would be a copy of <br />the Agenda and Minutes or the packet which the City Council receives. <br />City Clerk Ramos indicated only the Agenda and Minutes. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to close <br />the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-114-90. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-114-90 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON ESTABLISHING FEES FOR AGENDA MATERIALS <br />Appeal <br />Planning Commission <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open to consider appeal <br />filed by Maclin Markets, Inc., on Planning Commission denial of File <br />Index No. DC -54-90. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Jaime Aguilera indicated that Maclin <br />Markets, Inc. had sent a certified letter requesting an extension of <br />their hearing until November 20, 1990 City Council session. The letter <br />was received by the City but cannot be located at this time. Mr. Aguilera <br />stated that a representative from Maclin Markets, Inc. was present to <br />affirm the request and that there is no problem regarding the request <br />for continuance. <br />4 ,.c <br />
