On Council consensus, the Public Hearing on Fees Increase for Police Services was tabled. FEES Council Agenda/Minutes Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open to consider a fee for City Council Agenda and Minutes open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. City Clerk Ramos stated that the City Clerk's Office provides copies of City Council Agendas and Minutes on a year round basis to various individuals and private businesses. The current average cost of pro- viding such service is $7.00+ per month, which represents $3,538 based on 42 packets times 12 months. City Clerk Ramos recommended that the City Council approve Resolution No. R-114-90, establishing a $7.00 per month fee for City Council Agenda and Minutes. Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. Harold Berkebile, 1401 Latham, Colton, asked if this would be a copy of the Agenda and Minutes or the packet which the City Council receives. City Clerk Ramos indicated only the Agenda and Minutes. Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to close the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve Resolution No. R-114-90. R-114-90 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ESTABLISHING FEES FOR AGENDA MATERIALS Appeal Planning Commission Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open to consider appeal filed by Maclin Markets, Inc., on Planning Commission denial of File Index No. DC -54-90. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. Community Development Director Jaime Aguilera indicated that Maclin Markets, Inc. had sent a certified letter requesting an extension of their hearing until November 20, 1990 City Council session. The letter was received by the City but cannot be located at this time. Mr. Aguilera stated that a representative from Maclin Markets, Inc. was present to affirm the request and that there is no problem regarding the request for continuance. 4 ,.c
