Director Aguilera responded that the developer was stopped from moving <br />dirt due to the lot line problems. <br />Director Hutton agreed to have our consulting engineer and the City <br />Attorney review the situation. <br />Mr. Gunn states it was indicated to him that the property could <br />result in a zone change or a variance for commercial use. <br />Council Member Cisneros assured Mr. Gunn that the specific plan for <br />the Reche Canyon area does not allow for commercial development. <br />Director Aguilera indicated that Mr. Jackson the developer involved <br />has inquired about a zone change and information was given to him <br />as to what would be required. <br />Jacqueline Hoar, 30508 Los Altos Driver, Redlands, Parents Anonymous <br />Coordinator, addressed the Council regarding CDBG funds for the pro- <br />gram. She met with Mr. Gaytan, Director of Parks, Recreation and <br />Human Services and is also working at getting funding from grants <br />which would begin the next fiscal year beginning in July. The main <br />concern is the two months left between then and now. The request <br />at this time is assistance in any amount from the City. <br />Mayor Gonzales referred Ms. Hoar's request to the City Manager and <br />Director Gaytan to see if any funds are available to assist for the <br />two months requested. <br />Recess <br />The City Council recessed at 9:45 p.m. to take up the business of the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, and reconvened at 10:13 <br />p.m., all Members present. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council Adjourned to Closed Session at 10:14 p.m. to discuss <br />Personnel Matters, pursuant to Govt. Code Sec. 54957, and Litigation, <br />pursuant to Govt. Code Sec. 54956.9(a), and reconvened at 1:10 p.m., <br />all Members present. <br />rTTV MANAaRRIS REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Cinco De Mayo <br />City Manager Sotelo read the Agenda Report prepared by Karl Gaytan, <br />Director of Parks, Recreation and Human Services. Director Gaytan <br />requested approval of a Beer Garden to be managed by the Gents <br />Organization and Latino Peace Officers for the Cinco De Mayo Cele- <br />bration. The Beer Garden is to be located in the parking area across <br />from Municipal Park off of Carreon Drive. <br />10 <br />
