-- Council Member Lofy recommend that this matter be referred back to
staff to amend the ordinance to increase the permits by four and to
include a category based on need. The consensus of the Council
was to proceed as such.
Pastor Anderson, Healing Waters Church, expresssed his concern as to
where the additional four booths would be located. There is also a
need to contact the 22 people who participated and let them know of
the changes that are to occur.
Richard A. Mosher, 1735 Rancho Avenue, brought to the attention of
the Council the following: What is being done about the street where
he resides; he has called regarding the need to have his street paved
and his calls have never been returned; this problem has been going on
for three months and questioned why paving stopped in January of this
year, four houses down from his. Dirt has been used to fill
in the 18" deep hole in his driveway by City crew but was washed away
when the rains came. Pictures were presented for Council to review.
City Manager Sotelo responded that two crews would be out the following
day to repair the area in front of his home.
Council Member Cisneros assured Mr. Mosher that street repairs will be
addressed as indicated by Mr. Hutton earlier.
Mayor Gonzales apologized for the inconvenience and explained the
need to correct the older sections of the City and areas in dire need
of repair. Also delays have occured due to manpower problems.
Mr. Mosher requested assurance that once work is completed it will
be maintained.
Director Hutton agreed to meet with Mr. Mosher at his home the
following day to review with Mr. Mosher the work that will be done
in the street area in front of his home.
Andy Gunn, 3017 Shadid Drive, requested that when an item on the Agenda
has to do with a tract that the address or the location of where the
tract is located whould also be included.
Mr. Gunn discussed with Council a property line dispute which
involves his property and 13 other families.
Mayor Gonzales referred Mr. Gunn's problem to staff and asked that he
speak with Mr. Hutton to assist in resolving this problem.
Mr. Gunn stated he has an engineering report which is difficult to
interpret. His main concern is that the lot line be looked at by
the appropriate staff before the area is further developed and
changes cannot be made once homes are built in the area involved.
He does not want to be "held hostage" by the developer as contacts
have indicated this result.
9
APR 1 6 1991'
