Moved by Council Member Cisneros, seconded by Council Member Roman, to close the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. Mayor Gonzales opened the floor for discussion of granting an exten- sion. Council Member Cisneros stated that Mr. Le should be allowed an additional two weeks to meet with City staff. Council Member Roman felt that when extension was given to Mr. Le by the Planning Commission, it was granted with the understanding that it would be the last one. Moved by Council Member Roman, seconded by Mayor Gonzales to approve staff's recommendation for denial of the appeal. Motion carried. Council Member Cisneros voting No. RESOLUTION NO. R-25-91 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, TO DENY AN APPEAL FILED BY PACIFIC COAST PROPERTIES, REGARDING TENTA- TIVE TRACT 13701. Updating the Housing Element to the City's General Plan Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. Community Development Director Aguilera reported that the Housing Element had been referred back to the Planning Commission on February 19, 1991. The Planning Commission found that since the Plan was advisory and not mandatory in nature, that they would rescind their previous action to deny it and recommended that Council adopt the Housing Element of the General Plan. Moved to Council Member Cisneros, seconded by Council Member Lofy, to close the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. Moved by Council Member Roman, seconded by Council Member Rehrer, to approve the Planning Commission's recommendation. Unanimous vote. RESOLUTION NO.
