ressed some of the concerns voiced by Mr. Johnson. <br />City Engineer Glenn Wilson stated that the 1/2 street of Peppertree <br />Lane falls within a few tenths of meeting the standards. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to adopt Reso- <br />lution No. R-114-91, and approve Annexation of Peppertree Lane as out- <br />lined by Staff. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-114-91 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON CITY <br />COUNCIL APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY <br />DESIGNATED PEPPERTREE LANE TO THE CITY OF <br />COLTON. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />F1Pctric <br />City Manager Stratton reported on a letter dated November 23, 1991, re- <br />ceived from residents on Pennsylvania Avenue regarding electrical prob- <br />lems. Mrs. Stratton stated the reason this matter is before the City <br />Council this evening is that the residents are still unhappy about <br />these problems. <br />Mr. Walter Rector, 825 Pennsylvania Avenue, and Mr. James Slater, 835 <br />Pennsylvania Avenue, addressed the Council regarding the electrical <br />problems they have been experiencing at their homes and the increase <br />in their electric bills, advising that the transformers are still not <br />working right. <br />Electric Utility Director Drews commented that he had only had <br />contact with Mr. Slater. He informed that, currently, work to replace <br />wires and transformers is still in progress. He agreed to submit <br />a report, identifying problems, to the City Council. <br />Upon the Mayor's request, City Manager Stratton will make last year's <br />electric use records available to Mr. Rector. Further, Mrs. Stratton <br />will submit a report by December 17, for review by the City Council <br />and the residents. <br />Mrs. Georgia Rector , 825 Pennsylvania Avenue in Colton, submitted <br />written list of dates, problem identification and action taken. <br />Mrs. Rector stated she had suffered a monetory loss for computers and <br />she was invited to file a claim with the City Clerk. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Appeal <br />4 <br />
