MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: Commendations Police Chief Stratton spoke about the Police Explorer Post 245, who is setting an example for other Police Explorer Posts to follow. Chief Stratton advised of the many awards and special recognition our Post 245 has received. On August 14, 1991, the Colton Police De- partment was notified that Post 245 will be the recipient of the National Law Enforcement Explorer Community Crime Prevention Award, which will be presented during the International Conference of Crime Prevention Practitioners to be held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in October, 1991.
