It is the current plan to have the main structure <br />ready for Memorial Day in 1993. <br />Mayor Gonzales expressed appreciation for the veterans' organizations for their offer to erect <br />this memorial. be directed the group to work closely with Mrs. Helen Ramos, Cemetery <br />Manager and other city departments necessary to complete this work. <br />Motion by Councilman Roman, seconded by Councilman Cisneros, to accept and approve <br />the local war veterans organizations' offer to plan, fund, erect and maintain an all war <br />memorial at Hermosa Cemetery. Unanimous vote, <br />PUBLIC HEABINN <br />Revised Zoning rdinan <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public bearing open. <br />City Clem submitted the Affidavit of Posting Continuance of Public bearing. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera recounted that two study sessions and three City <br />Council meetings had been held on the Zoning Ordinance, previously reviewed and approved <br />by the Planning Commission. used on objections received to Section 18.3 .050 regarding <br />parking limitations and Section 13.59.130, Subsection 6, regarding political signs, Staff <br />recommended that these sections be removed from the proposed zoning ordinance and <br />returned to the Planning Commission for farther study and for future presentation by Staff <br />to the City Council. <br />Staff recommended approval of the Zoning Ordinance with the exceptions of Section <br />1 8.36.050 and 18.50.130, subsection 6. Cost for publication of the Zoning Ordinance has <br />been allocated to the 1992-93 budget. <br />Planning Commission and staff recommended approval of a negative Declaration of the <br />proposed Zoning Ordinance. <br />After allowing for public comment, motion by Councilmember Cisneros, seconded by <br />Councilmember Rehrer, the public hearing is terminated. Unanimous vote. <br />Motion by Councilmember Lofy, seconded by Councilmember Rehrer, to ,accept the <br />stipulation to remove Section 18.36.050 and Section 18,50130, Subsection 6, from the <br />Zoning Ordinance-, and to 'waive Full Reading and Vass First Reading of ORDINANCE NO. 0- <br />14M92. Unanimous vote. <br />N <br />
