PUBLIC HEARINGS Prezonin - Reche Can cin Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections were received. Community Development Director Zamora reported that his office has initiated an application to pre -zone all unincorporated parcels in the Reche Canyon with zones consistent to the adopted Reche Canyon Specific Plan. The areas mailable for annexation to the City consist of 378 acres in the Counter, which will be added to the 1,562 acres already existing, within the City boundaries, in the Reche Canyon. He indicated that as there was no adverse comment from the Environmental Review Process, the Planning Commission approved Legative Declaration for the pre -zoning application. Staff recommended approval of the Negative Declaration Resolution and waiving of the First Reading of the proposed ordinance. After calling for comments and hearing none, motion by Councilmember Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to terminate the Public Hearing is carried. Unanimous vote.
