-qualification. lair. Tisdale asked for a <br />City Manager Lees responded that there will be pre <br />guarantee for loam, down payment or co-sign. Mr. Legis stated that staff is investigating <br />all options. He stated that he can guarantee that this City Council and its staff are <br />committed to the project's success. <br />Ms. Christie Anne Sheppeard, 700 E. Washington, #230, informed about the frustration and <br />and anxiety found amongst the park residents. They are worried about losing their homes. <br />She spoke about the run-down conditions at the park because of the owners neglect. She <br />asked the City Council to investigate the fact that there was a teenager luring in a garage; <br />that there is debris near the RV storage; that there were weeds near the pool; that there is <br />no fire line, that fire plugs are corroded. She said the fire department had been contacted <br />repeatedly and nothing has been done. She complained about the car gash area; graffiti; <br />dogs running louse and attacking and about the broken security gate. <br />She noted that the property located west of the parr is for sale and was fearful that it would <br />be developed as commercial property which could have negative impact on the park. She <br />asked City Council for its assistance. <br />Russell W. Mills, 700 E. Washington St., said he was a member of the steering committee <br />and related that he had moved into the mobile park a year ago when a new playground was <br />built. It has not been maintained and the kids vandalize the area. He complained about dogs <br />running loose. <br />Mayor Gonzales referred the :natter to the Cade Enforcement Staff and the Fire Department <br />for their investigation and report. He said that a steering committee representative :would <br />be invited to sit in on future negotiations. <br />Councilman Roman suggested that as negotiations are not made public that the steering <br />committee meet on a monthly basis with the City Manager and the attorney. City Manager <br />Lewis stated he would be happy to meet with therm. <br />Mayor Gonzales related that in the area of finance, the City has the ability through <br />Redevelopment agency to assist the park residents, He indicated that the residents should <br />feel free to contact the City Manager who sits in negotiations all the time, <br />Councilmember Cisneros asked the steering committee if the City Manager had contacted <br />any of them, lair. Kalogonis answered that the Cita Manager had called him once. <br />Councilmember Cisneros informed that the City Manager had been directed to call. She <br />apologized for the lack of communication. She felt that perhaps from now on the park <br />residents would be kept informed. <br />El <br />
