Collection of Special Assessments for Fiscal Year 1993-94. <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Samos submitted the Affidavit of Posting the <br />Continuance of the Public Hearing and reported that no protests <br />or objections had been received. <br />Public Works Director Hutton reported, the City's consultant <br />engineer has prepared the report for Fiscal. Year 1993-94. The <br />report in its entirety is on file in the City Clerk's Office. <br />During the Fiscal Year of 1992-93 the assessed amount for the <br />district totaled $382,495. The proposed assessed amount for the <br />upcoming fiscal. Year of 1993-94 will be $299,,692. The savings of <br />$82,803 will be proportioned throughout each benefit zone. <br />Director Hutton recommended adoption of a resolution approving <br />the engineer ° s report., ordering the continued operation of the <br />Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 and levying of assessments <br />for Fiscal Year 1993-94. <br />Moved by Councilmember Bennett, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sandoval., to close the public hearing.
