Mayor Gonzales accepted the award on behalf of the City Council. Public Works Director Hutton informed that the Cities of Colton and San Bernardino agreed to enter into an agreement to construct a RIX Demonstration Project for the tertiary treatment of wastewater from both cities. This project has been accepted by the State of California Regional Water Quality Control Board as an alternative ;method for the tertiary treatment of wastewater.
