Total compensation for the inventory is listed at $41,200.00. it is the <br />Electric Utility Department°s goal to provide service to all residences and businesses <br />within the limits of the City of Colton; therefore, Staff recommended adoption of the <br />proposed resolution. <br />Hearing no response for public comment, ;notion by Councilrnember Beltran, seconded <br />by Councilmember Cisneros, to terminate the public hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Motion by Councilmernber Beltran, seconded by Councilrnember Sandoval, to accept <br />staff recommendation and to adopt Resolution No. RW43w93. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-4�. 93 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DECLARING THAT THE <br />ACQUISITION OF EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS-OF- <br />WAY PERTAINING TO, AND NECESSARY FOR, THE <br />ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AS PER <br />SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON DOCUMENT <br />#376166 AND ALL IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED <br />THEREON BY EMINENT DOMAIN IS NECESSARY <br />FOR CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF <br />ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION LINES. <br />Streets <br />Mayor Gonzales noted that public hearing as to the abandonment of the alley has been <br />correctly noticed for June 15, 1993. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATICLNS: <br />Sewer <br />Public Works Director Hutton presented the E, .neerin Excellence Honor Award <br />received from CELSOC for the City's participation in the RIX Demonstration Project, <br />designed by CH2M Hill. Mayor Gonzales accepted the award on behalf of the City <br />Council. <br />Public Works Director Hutton informed that the Cities of Colton and San Bernardino <br />agreed to enter into an agreement to construct a RIX Demonstration Project for the <br />tertiary treatment of wastewater from both cities. This project has been accepted by <br />the State of California Regional Water Quality Control Board as an alternative ;method <br />for the tertiary treatment of wastewater. Mr. Hutton stated that the Board of Control <br />is comprised of two representatives appointed by Colton and two representatives <br />0 <br />
