None disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />✓ Presentation Richard Gonzales of Union Pacific Railroad Foundation introduced staff <br />Rita Jones and Susan Oliva who presented checks to the following social <br />services organizations that serve the Inland Empire and the City of <br />Colton: <br />* San Bernardino Child Advocacy Program <br />* United Way of the Inland Valley <br />* Arrowhead United Way <br />* Arts Counsel of San Bernardino County <br />* Santa Clause Inc., of Greater San Bernardino <br />✓ Proclamation CM De La Rosa read and presented a proclamation on "Memorial Day" to <br />Dave Gasca, American Legion Post 155. <br />✓ Presentation Dave Gasca, presented monies for care packages for servicemen in Iraq <br />from American Legion Post 155 to CM Mitchell. <br />✓ Proclamation CM Chastain read and presented a proclamation on "National Public <br />Works Week' to Engineering Director Amer Jakher. <br />✓ Proclamation Mayor Bennett presented and read proclamation on "Veterans <br />Appreciation Month — May 2004" which will be mailed to Rafael Chavarria <br />at the California Employment Development Department. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />With no opposition from the Council, Mayor Bennett pulled forward Item 22 agenda report for <br />consideration by Council. <br />2004 MAY 18 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 2 - <br />
