Community Development Director Zamora explained that they have <br />worked with Sprint and compromised with the applicant as they felt that the reception would be <br />significant difference such as areas in Reche Canyon. City Attorney Derleth clarified that this <br />was the restriction rather than a CUP restriction; the applicant said it was a prohibition; it is just <br />a required CUP restriction. CM Hernandez explained that these were cell towers and the high <br />towers were not clear reception through the canyon for Fire and Police. Police Chief Rulon <br />responded. City Manager Parrish explained that one advantage was that it would enable <br />wireless system for cameras. <br />Vote: Motion carried with CM Suchil voting "NO". <br />ORDINANCE: <br />Second Readings: <br />Zone Change <br />Waive Full Reading and Pass Second Reading on an Ordinance of the City Council of the City <br />of Colton Approving a Zone Change from C-2 (General Commercial) to R-2 (Duplex Residential) <br />for Property Located at 744 East "G" Street in the City of Colton (DAP -000-459), ORDINANCE <br />NO. 0-17-05. <br />Motion/second by CM Hernandez/Ramos to waive full reading and pass second reading of <br />Ordinance No. 0-17-05.
