PUBLIC HEARING: <br />Permit Fees for Preferential Parking Program <br />This was the Time And Place Fixed To Consider A Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of <br />Colton To Establish Permit Fees For The Preferential Parking Program. <br />The Mayor declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Barrera announced that the affidavit of publication calling the public hearing is on file in <br />the City Clerk's Office and no protests or objections had been received. <br />Lieutenant Burrows presented an overview of the agenda report for council consideration and <br />requested approval of staff's recommendation. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None <br />Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Ramos to close the public hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Discussion continued with questions of clarification provided by staff that included control of permit <br />issuance when a resident moves in or out. of the permit area; the numbers required on the petition, <br />permit process where homes are not located; permit issued by house address or resident; <br />inclusion of Las Brisas apartment complex; how address will be verified; and signage posting. <br />Motion/second by CM Chastain/De L Rosa to approve and adopt Resolution R-120-05. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />ORDINANCE: <br />First Reading <br />Waive Full Reading and Pass Second Reading of an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of <br />Colton Approving a Zone Change from R-1 (Single Family Residential) to R-1/PC (Single Family <br />Residential/Planned Community Overlay) for Property Located at 488 and 502 West Johnston <br />Avenue (File Index No. DAP -000-358), ORDINANCE NO. 0-15-05. <br />Motion/second by CM De L Rosa / Ramos to waive full reading and pass second reading of <br />Ordinance No. 0-15-05.
