�j <br />2! <br />i <br />6I <br />i <br />7 <br />c� <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />1✓ <br />20 <br />212- <br />22 <br />122 <br />23 <br />24 <br />c <br />`} <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />'50 <br />31 <br />32 <br />or any animal which in a threatening or annoying manner barks, snarls or <br />menaces persons using any of the public streets, highways or public places, <br />within the City of Colton or any animal which for a long period of time or <br />1 times barks, howls or makes loud annoying noises or sounds during the day <br />and particularly during the night so that same creates a serious menace to <br />others in the immediate neighborhood to the detriment of the public health, <br />safety or general welfare of persons in said neighborhood. <br />Section 9: The Chief of Police, Humane Officer, City Health Officer, <br />and all Police Officers of said City shall have the right to enter upon any <br />private property for the purpose of ascertaining whether any dog, cat or <br />similar type animals are kept or harbored in violation of the provisions hereof <br />and particularly to determine whether any dog is afflicted with rabies or <br />hydrophobia or other dangerous disease. <br />Section loo That the license provisions of this ordinance shall not be <br />deemed to apply to dogs under the age of three months and which are kept <br />within enclosure and not permitted to run at large. <br />Section 11: That in order to protect the public health and safety all <br />dogs or similar type animals within the City of Colton must be vaccinated each <br />year with canine rabies vaccine. That it shall be unlawful for any person to <br />own, have an interest in, harbor and feed or have the care, charge, custody, <br />or possession of a dog over the age of three months unless such dog has been <br />vaccinated with canine rabies vaccine by injection or other approved method <br />by a duly, qualified and licensed veterinarian and thereafter each such dog <br />�i must be vaccinated with canine rabies vaccine each succeeding year. <br />Section 12: That no license to own or harbor a dog or similar type <br />animal shall be issued except upon application in writing to the Chief of <br />Police of said City, setting forth the name and address of the owner or <br />possessor of the dog, or similar type animal and a brief description of the dog, <br />together with a certificate of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian, show- <br />ing that the dog has been vaccinated with canine rabies vaccine within a period <br />of twelve months preceding date of application for license, <br />
