Any such person <br />i <br />8 <br />� so occupying space in a hotel shall be deemed to be a transient <br />9 until the period of thirty (30) days has expired unless there is <br />10 an agreement in writing between the operator and the occupant <br />11 providing for a longer period of occupancy. In determining <br />12 <br />whether a person is a transient, uninterrupted periods of time <br />13 <br />extending both prior and subsequent to the effective date of: this <br />14 <br />15 ordinance may be considered. <br />(e) Rent. "Rent" means the consideration charged, <br />16 <br />17 whether or not received, for the occupancy of space in a hotel <br />I <br />18I valued in money, whether to be received in money, goods, labor, <br />1cash, credits and property <br />�.� or otherwise, including all receipts, <br />i' <br />20 `iices of any kind or nature, without any deduction there - <br />and services <br />�1 <br />from whatsoever. <br />22 ii <br />jj (f) Operator. 1°Operator" means the person who <br />23 <br />is proprietor of the hotel, whether in the capacity of owner, <br />2 ��, less- <br />i <br />25 ee, s <br />ubles s ee mortgagee in possession, licensee or any other <br />26capacity.
