Notwithstanding subsection (c) of Section 9.30.020, alarm systems in- <br />stalled and operative prior to the adoption of this chapter may be continued in <br />operation without a permit until ninety days (90) following adoption hereof, <br />lafter which said subsection shall be fully applicable thereto. <br />Section 9.30.050. Permit Applications - Form - Investigation. <br />a. Applications for all permits required under this chapter shall <br />be filed with the City Manager of said City or his designee. There shall be sub- <br />91mitted such information as the City Manager deems necessary in order to evaluate <br />3.011and act upon the permit application. An application for an alarm system permit <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />M <br />19 <br />20 <br />21. <br />22 <br />23' <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28} <br />shall require the name, address and telephone number of the person who is respon- <br />sible for and who will render service or repairs to the system during any hour of <br />the day or night. <br />b All applications for permits for alarm businesses.or alarm <br />agents shall require the fingerprints of the applicants. The City Manager shall <br />make or cause to be conducted an investigation of each applicant to determine his- <br />Ilcharacter, reputation and .moral integrity. <br />Section 9.30.060. Permits - Issuance - Denial. <br />a. Permits as applied for shall be issued by the City Manager or <br />This designee provided it appears that all requirements of this chapter and of <br />i <br />jthe standards, rules and regulations applicable pursuant to this chapter and <br />i <br />'other ordinances and laws have been, and will appropriately be, met fully by the <br />;applicant. <br />b. A permit for an alarm business or an alarm agent shall'be <br />denied if the character, reputation or moral integrity, of the applicant is <br />determined by the City Manager or his designee to be inimical or detrimental to <br />the safety or general welfare of the community, or if the applicant falsifies any <br />information in the permit application, or omits any information required therein. <br />
