Project <br />Area map of the. Redeve-lopment Plan. to increase the land within <br />the. Cooley Ranch:, Project. -No. 4, and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has formulated, prepared and approved <br />the proposed Amendment No. 2 to the'Redevelopment Plan for the <br />Cooley Ranch, Project No 4 (thea "Amendment"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton has <br />submitted its Report and Recommendations to the City Council <br />recommending approval of the proposed Amendment, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has previously approved an. <br />Environmental Impact Report for the Cooley Ranch Planned Community <br />dated Larch. 1, 1974, and <br />WHEREAS, thQ_City of Colton has approved an Initial Study, and <br />a Negative Declaration, has authorized for publication a Notice of <br />Preparation and has authori..zed for filing a Notice. of Determination <br />all pursuant to the -California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />and the rules promulgated thereunder for the project known as <br />"Amendment No, 2 to the Redevelopment Plan for the Cooley Ranch, <br />Project No. 4" and <br />WHEREAS, the proper procedures for determining the environ- <br />mental impact of the Amendment were pursue -d by the Agency and the <br />City of Colton in accordance with CEQA; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly given, as required by the <br />Community Redevelopment Law, a full and fair public hearing has <br />been held on Amendment No. 2; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has adopted its Resolution entitled; <br />"Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton <br />kpproving Amendment No. 2 to the Redevelopment Plan for the Cooley <br />-2- <br />
