I Ranch, Project No. 4, Approving the Redevelopment Plan Report in <br />2 its Final Form and Making Certain Environmental Impact Findings'; <br />3 and <br />4 WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted its Resolution. <br />5 entitled: "Resolution of the. City Council of the City of <br />6 Colton Approving Amendment No. 2 to the Redevelopment Plan for <br />7 the Cooley Ranch, Project No, 4, Approving a Redevelopment Plan <br />8 Report and Making Certain Environmental Impact Findings"; and <br />9 WHEREAS, all actions required by the Community Redevelopment <br />10 Law and other applicable laws have been taken in an appropriate <br />11 and timely manner. <br />12 NOW, THEREFORE, THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF COLTON, <br />13 CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />14 Section: 1. The purposes and intent of the City Council <br />15 with respect to the Project Area are to; <br />16 1. Eliminate the conditions of blight existing in the <br />17 Project Area; <br />18 2. Insure, as far as possible, that the causes: of <br />19 blighting conditions in the Project Area will be <br />20 either eliminated or protected against; <br />21 3. Provide participation for owners and business <br />22 tenants in the Project Area; <br />23 4. Encourage and insure the redevelopment of the <br />24 Project Area; <br />25 5. Encourage and foster the economic revitalization <br />26 of the Project Area; and <br />27 6. Iriprove the public facilities in the Project Area to <br />28 provide'safer.and more efficient public services. <br />MI! <br />
