1 Section 2. That the -existing improvementsconsist <br />2 generally of public lighting facilities and unimproved park <br />- <br />3 ways and medians and this City Council does contemplate <br />4 proposed new public lighting and landscaping improvements to <br />5 be inst'ialled by the petitioning landowner at its sole cost <br />6 and expense. <br />7 Section 3. That the maintenance proposed to be <br />8 perform6oI consists of the ordinary and usual maintenance, <br />9 operation, and servicing of certain public parkways and <br />10 median landscaping facilities, including: <br />11 (a) Repair, removal, or replacement of all or any <br />N 12 part of the improvements thereon; <br />M o <br />0 WC4" 13 <br />(b) Providing for the life, growth, health, and <br />owWoa <br />Na N X Z <br />UVWmo- 14 beauty of the landscaping thereon,. including cultivation, <br />W IL <br />Z< ° 15 <br />irrigation trimming, spraying, fertilizing, or treating for <br />o W <br />N ° o W 16 disease, or injury; and <br />17 (c) The removal of trimming, rubbish, debris, and <br />18_ other solid waste. <br />19 (d) Street light installation and maintenance. <br />20 (e) Required electrical maintenance and: <br />21 replacement. <br />22 Section 4. That the contemplated work, in the <br />23 opinion of this City Council, is of more than local or <br />24 ordinary public benefit, and this City Council hereby makes <br />25 the expense of the said work chargeable upon Annexation No. I <br />26 to. thel :District, which area shall be assessed to pay the <br />27 costs a d expenses thereof. <br />28 <br />-3- <br />
