City of Colton <br />-t- <br />February 23, 1989 <br />3. Make a visit to the sites associated with the Domecq and Walnut <br />facilities to check current field conditions. <br />4. Test the radio system operation from the proposed base radio location <br />at the City Yard. <br />5. Meet with the City to discuss design alternatives and decide on <br />a single system upgrade design approach. <br />6. Prepare technical specifications and design drawings for: <br />a. The relocation of and modifications to the master SCADA <br />system. <br />b. The relocation of and modifications to the digital monitoring <br />and control panel. <br />C. Relocation of the radio telemetry equipment. <br />7. Incorporate the design and specifications for Domecq supply storage <br />and pumping facilities and the Walnut Complex into the design and <br />specifications generated under Item 6 above. Generate a single <br />bid document, plans, and specification. <br />8. Print three (3) draft sets of bid documents, plans and specifications <br />for review by the City. <br />9. Attend one meeting with the City to review the draft design and <br />bid documents. <br />10. Revise the draft design plans and specifications based on comments <br />received from the City. <br />11. Develop a final construction cost estimate. <br />12. Print thirty (30) sets of bid design documents suitable for bidding. <br />13. Provide assistance during bidding to: <br />a. Assist the City in selecting potential system suppliers. <br />b. Attend one prebid conference which will include a job walk. <br />C. Provide assistance during bidding including interpretation <br />of plans and specifications and formulating addenda (if <br />required). <br />d. Attend the bid opening meeting. <br />e. Review the bids and provide assistance in final selection of <br />the contractor. <br />
