City of Colton -3- February 23, 1989 <br />B. SCHEDULE <br />It is JMM's understanding that the award of the construction contract must <br />be on or before June 30, 1989. In order to meet this deadline, the following <br />is a proposed "fast-track" schedule. <br />1. Review of this proposal and authorizing JMM to proceed wtih the <br />design must take place on or before February 24, 1989. <br />1p <br />2. February 27, 1989 through March 3, 1989 - Predesign Activities <br />(Tasks 1, 2, 3, and 4). <br />3. March 6, 1989 through April 21, 1989 - Design Activities (Tasks <br />5, 6 and 7. <br />4. April 24, 1989 through May 5 - Finalize Design (Tasks 8, 9 10, 11). <br />5. May 8, 1989 - Advertise for bids. <br />6. May 24, 1989 - Prebid Conference. <br />7. June 6, 1989 - Bid Date. <br />8. June 23, 1989 - Award. <br />SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CITY <br />The following services for this project will be provided by the City: <br />1. A single set of written review comments to be implemented in the <br />final design documents. The review comments are those associated <br />with JMM's Scope of Work, Items 9 and 10. <br />2. Advertise for bids for award of the construction contract. <br />3. Provide convenient access to the sites. <br />4. Provide access to all available data concerning the project, including <br />record drawings of existing facilities. <br />ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />1. Services related to the modification and/or modernization of the <br />control center or any other office. <br />2. Additional review cycles requested by the City beyond the draft <br />design review identified in the Scope of Work. <br />3. Services related to the design, rehabilitation of mechanical or <br />electrical equipment and facilities. <br />4. Prequalification of potential system suppliers. <br />
